Teenager shot twice in legs in Richlands attack

Police are searching for three men after the shooting of an 18-year-old man in Brisbane’s south-western suburbs on Friday morning.

Police said the man suffered two gunshot wounds to his legs at Zerlotti Close, Richlands about 9.30am.

He was rushed by ambulance to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Police said the victim knew his attackers and there was no ongoing risk to the community.

Three men, described by police as African in appearance and aged in their twenties, fled he scene of the shooting.

“Detectives are appealing for any witnesses, with or without dashcam and CCTV footage captured between 9-10am on Archerfield Road to come forward,” police said in a statement.
